The Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY) football overcame the host Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY), 13-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Colonels clash with the Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY) in a 5A District 5 bout, on Friday, October 25. Covington Catholic will attempt to move on its 10-0 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 7-1 record after their 35-29 league win over Cooper (Union, KY).
