West Virginia High School Football - Greenbrier East edged by Riverside
October 21, 2005: Lewisburg, WV 24901 Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team edge the host Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV), 13-7 in a league game.
With the win, Riverside improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Warriors travel to Cabell Midland (Ona, WV) to meet the Knights in a Mountain State game on Friday, October 28. The Knights enter the game with a record of 5-4. Cabell Midland lost 15-12 in their recent league game against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV)
Next up, the Spartans meet the Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) in a Mountain State game, on Friday, October 28. Greenbrier East will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Redskins enter the game with a 5-3 record after their 17-0 league loss to St. Albans (Hurricane, WV).
