West Virginia High School Football - Webster County victorious over Braxton County
October 23, 2009: Upper Glade, WV 26266 In Friday's non-league match, the host Webster County Highlanders football squad scored a good 21-0 victory over the Braxton County Eagles.
In their next game, the Highlanders clash with the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 30. Webster County will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 3-6 record after their 21-14 non-league loss to Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV).
With the loss, Braxton County drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV) to battle the Red Devils in a Little Kanawha test on Friday, October 30. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 4-4. Calhoun lost 45-38 in their recent league test against Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV)
