Texas High School Basketball - College Park holds off Worthing
November 24, 2008: The Woodlands, TX 77384 College Park Cavaliers (The Woodlands, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Worthing Colts (Houston, TX), 2-0 in a non-league bout.
With the win, College Park upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Kempner (Sugar Land, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 25. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Kempner won 46-41 in their recent non-league bout against College Park (The Woodlands, TX)
Next up, the Colts play the Houston Academy (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 5. Worthing will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 92-74 league loss to Houston Heights (Houston, TX).
