Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Glenelg Country Dragons (Glenelg, MD), 68-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mount St. Joseph upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a MIAA A bout on Wednesday, December 3. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Archbishop Spalding lost 56-29 in their recent league bout against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD)

Next, the Dragons encounter the John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD) in a MIAA A test, on Friday, December 5. Glenelg Country will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 7-0 record after their 59-53 non-league win over Goretti (Hagerstown, MD).
