Kentucky High School Basketball - Western Hills overwhelms Shawnee
December 3, 2016: Frankfort, KY 40601 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY) and the visiting Shawnee Golden Eagles (Louisville, KY), saw Western Hills's basketball squad wallop Shawnee by a tally of 72-48.
With the victory, Western Hills improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Woodford County (Versailles, KY) to play the Yellowjackets in a District 41 challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Woodford County won 67-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Boyle County (Danville, KY)
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Louisville Collegiate Titans (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Shawnee will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
