Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA), 79-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Herndon upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Annandale (Annandale, VA) to encounter the Atoms in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Atoms go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Annandale lost 65-58 in their recent league bout against South County (Lorton, VA)

Next up, the Seahawks encounter the Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) in a AAA Liberty bout, on Tuesday, December 14. South Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
