Kentucky High School Basketball - Ryle holds off Tates Creek
December 12, 2009: Lexington, KY 40517 Ryle Raiders (Union, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY), 47-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ryle upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Raiders host Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, December 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Lexington Christian won 74-54 in their recent non-league bout against East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY)
Next up, the Commodores play the Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) in a District 43 bout, on Tuesday, December 15. Tates Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
