Massachusetts High School Basketball - Beaver Country Day edges Albany Academy for Boys
December 12, 2010: Chestnut Hill, MA 02467 The Beaver Country Day Mariners (Chestnut Hill, MA) basketball nipped the visiting Albany Academy for Boys Cadets (Albany, NY), 77-72 in Sunday's non-league test.
The Mariners (5-0) will now prepare for their test against Pingree (South Hamilton, MA). The Highlanders go into the Eastern Independent test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Pingree was tipped by Beaver Country Day (Chestnut Hill, MA), 55-49, in a league test.
The Cadets now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Cobleskill-Richmondville for a non-league test on Friday, December 17. Albany Academy for Boys will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 58-45 league win over Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
