The Ferndale Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs to 55 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Adams for a Oakland - Red contest on Wednesday, December 22. Ferndale will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 63-40 non-league win over Southfield Arts & Tech (Southfield, MI). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-0.

The Cubs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Edison Academy (Detroit, MI). The Pioneers come into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Edison Academy was nudged by Cass Tech (Detroit, MI), 88-74, in a non-league contest.
