Oregon High School Basketball - Franklin prevails McNary
December 21, 2009: Keizer, OR 97303 Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR), 50-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Quakers travel to Tigard (Tigard, OR) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 29. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Tigard lost 44-34 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR)
Next up, the Celtics play the Reynolds Raiders (Troutdale, OR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 28. McNary will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 50-44 non-league loss to Century (Hillsboro, OR).
