Kentucky High School Basketball - Mercy falls to Ashland Blazer
December 21, 2012: Ashland, KY 41102 The Ashland Blazer Tomcats basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Mercy Jaguars to 52 in the Tomcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tomcats now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 22. Ashland Blazer will confront a Flyers team coming off a 50-47 non-league win over Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY). The Flyers record now stands at 6-2.
The Jaguars (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY). The Aces enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Owensboro Catholic was defeated by Franklin County (Frankfort, KY), 50-47, in a non-league contest.
