Michigan High School Basketball - Western International nips Bloomfield Hills
December 26, 2017: Detroit, MI 48209 Western International Cowboys (Detroit, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 42-40 in a league bout.
With the victory, Western International upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Ford (Detroit, MI) to play the Trojans in a Detroit Public I bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Ford won 57-54 in their recent league bout against Renaissance (Detroit, MI)
Next up, the Black Hawks play the Clarkston Wolves (Clarkston, MI) in a Oakland - Red bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Bloomfield Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 56-43 non-league win over St. Mary Prep (Orchard Lake, MI).
