Michigan High School Basketball - Hamady nips Oak Park
December 27, 2023: Oak Park, MI 48237 Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Oak Park Knights (Oak Park, MI), 48-45 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hamady upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Bendle (Burton, MI) to play the Tigers in a Genesee Area - Red bout on Friday, January 5. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-1.
Next up, the Knights play the Adams Highlanders (Rochester, MI) in a Oakland - Red bout, on Thursday, January 4. Oak Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Highlanders come into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 53-45 non-league win over Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI).
