The Comets now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to East Carter for a District 62 battle on Friday, January 4. West Carter will meet a Raiders team coming off a 68-50 non-league win over Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 7-4.
The Mustangs (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Doss (Louisville, KY). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Doss dropped by Kentucky Country Day (Louisville, KY), 53-37, in a non-league battle.
