Kentucky High School Basketball - Highlands trounces Adair County
December 28, 2023: Columbia, KY 42728 The Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) basketball crushed the host Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY), 81-45 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bluebirds (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Metcalfe County was trounced by Franklin County (Frankfort, KY), 84-50, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Marion County for a District 20 test on Tuesday, January 2. Adair County will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 38-33 non-league win over Berea (Berea, KY). The Knights record now stands at 6-4.
