Mississippi High School Basketball - Pontotoc nips Tupelo
December 8, 2023: Pontotoc, MS 38863 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) and the visiting Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS), saw Pontotoc's basketball squad hold off Tupelo by a count of 77-71.
With the victory, Pontotoc upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to West Union (Myrtle, MS) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. West Union won 88-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Ashland (Ashland, MS)
Next up, the Golden Wave play the Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Tupelo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
