Kentucky High School Basketball - Marion County tops Garrard County
February 12, 2024: Lebanon, KY 40033 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) and the visiting Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY), saw Marion County's basketball squad knock off Garrard County by a count of 62-49.
With the victory, Marion County upgrades its record to 4-19 on the campaign. The Knights host Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-13. Edmonson County lost 97-68 in their recent league challenge against Butler County (Morgantown, KY)
Next up, the Golden Lions play the Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Garrard County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-20 season record. The Commodores come into the challenge with a 3-20 record after their 76-61 league loss to Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY).
