February 16, 2024: New Castle, KY 40050 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY) and the visiting Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY), saw Henry County's basketball squad overcome Shelby County by a tally of 39-31.
With the victory, Henry County improves its record to 10-16 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY) to confront the Juggernauts in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 21. The Juggernauts come into the challenge with a record of 12-16. Lloyd Memorial lost 63-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY)
Next up, the Rockets confront the Williamstown Demons (Williamstown, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Shelby County will attempt to improve on its 0-24 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 6-19 record after their 48-27 non-league loss to Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY).
