Holy Cross Cougars (Louisville, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Central Hardin Bruins (Cecilia, KY), 75-72 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Holy Cross upgrades its record to 18-10 on the campaign. The Cougars host Ballard (Louisville, KY) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 13-12. Ballard won 84-77 in their recent non-league bout against Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY)

Next up, the Bruins play the Doss Dragons (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 21. Central Hardin will attempt to upgrade on its 16-9 season record.
