New York High School Basketball - Franklin tops East
February 7, 2024: Rochester, NY 14621 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Franklin Bulldogs (Rochester, NY) and the visiting East Eagles (Rochester, NY), saw Franklin's basketball squad knock off East by a tally of 90-80.
With the victory, Franklin improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Monroe (Rochester, NY) to play the Red Jackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Red Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Monroe lost 75-72 in their recent non-league challenge against University Prep Charter (Bronx, NY)
Next up, the Eagles play the School of the Arts Silverhawks (Rochester, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. East will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Silverhawks come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 65-48 league win over Northeast/Northwest College Prep (Rochester, NY).
