New Jersey High School Basketball - Arts tops Rutgers Prep
February 8, 2024: Newark, NJ 07102 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Arts Jaguars (Newark, NJ) and the visiting Rutgers Prep Argonauts (Somerset, NJ), saw Arts's basketball squad knock off Rutgers Prep by a tally of 69-58.
With the victory, Arts improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Immaculate Conception (Montclair, NJ) to play the Lions in a Super Essex - American challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 16-6.
Next up, the Argonauts play the Oratory Prep Rams (Summit, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 10. Rutgers Prep will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 58-50 non-league loss to Union (Union, NJ).
