Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Medford Tech Jaguars (Medford, NJ), 82-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union Catholic upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Vikings travel to Westfield (Westfield, NJ) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Mountain Valley - Mountain bout on Saturday, February 10. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 12-10. Westfield won 59-34 in their recent non-league bout against Johnson (Clark, NJ)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Medford Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 18-6 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 18-2 record after their 52-44 non-league win over Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ).
