Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 22-1 in a non-league battle.

The Maroon Knights now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Albans for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. Wheeling Central Catholic will clash with a Red Dragons squad coming off a 14-12 league win over Mountain State (Ona, WV). The Red Dragons record now stands at 4-4.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 20. Preston will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Cadets come into the battle with a 7-3 record after their 11-10 league win over Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV).
