In Thursday's league contest, the Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Eagles face the Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 9. Robert C. Byrd will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to James Wood (Winchester, VA).
