Kentucky High School Football - Grayson County overwhelms Butler County
September 8, 2023: Leitchfield, KY 42754 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) and the visiting Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY), observed Grayson County's football squad bounce Butler County by a count of 40-6.
The Cougars now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Moore for a 5A District 4 contest on Friday, September 15. Grayson County will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 34-26 non-league win over Waggener (Louisville, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.
Coming up next, the Bears encounter the Hart County Raiders (Munfordville, KY) in a 3A District 2 contest, on Friday, September 15. Butler County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
