If the Manteca Buffaloes were riding high off their 3-0 takedown of the Central Catholic Raiders last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Manteca was the victim of a tough 5-1 defeat at the hands of Kimball on Thursday. Manteca has not had much luck with Kimball recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Manteca's loss dropped their record down to 10-15-1. As for Kimball, they pushed their record up to 12-2-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manteca will square off against Oakdale at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Manteca is facing Oakdale at the right time seeing as Oakdale is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Kimball, they will head out on the road to square off against East Union at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Kimball is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
