On Friday, The Colchester Lakers faced the Mount Anthony Patriots in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Colchester came out on top against Mount Anthony by a score of 14-7. The win was some much needed relief for Colchester as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Colchester's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Mount Anthony, they have fallen quite a ways from their 10-2 record last season and are now at 0-8.
Colchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mount Anthony is also done with their season.
