The Shrine Catholic Knights entered their tilt with the Lutheran Warriors with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Shrine Catholic took down Lutheran 74-56 on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Christian Fontaine, who scored 38 points along with 7 rebounds. Fontaine scored a full 67.9% of Lutheran's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Shrine Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shrine Catholic will face off against Our Lady of the Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lutheran, they will head out on the road to face off against Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
