The Burbank Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 71-9 loss at the hands of McClatchy. Burbank was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-3.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Burbank struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-4) when they can't control their own glass like that.
Burbank has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for McClatchy, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-5.
Burbank will head out on the road to take on the Pacers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Grant's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while the Titans have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. McClatchy will take on the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kennedy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Lions are ranked 39th).
