Lincoln has been on the road for two straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Natomas Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.
Last Monday, Lincoln kept a clean sheet against West Park. They won by a goal and slipped past the Panthers 1-0. Lincoln's winning goal came courtesy of Rhaya Everts.
Meanwhile, Natomas had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They had just enough and edged Johnson out 2-1.
Lincoln has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. As for Natomas, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1.
Everything went Lincoln's way against Natomas in their previous matchup back in December of 2019 as Lincoln made off with a 8-1 victory. With Lincoln ahead 3-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
