When it comes to explaining why Oakmont lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kaitlyn Fayter. Despite the final result, she scored 25 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. That was a full 54.3% of Oakmont's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Sophia Bodnar, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
West Park was led to victory by Aliyah Villarama and Jill Ngo. Villarama scored 15 points, while Ngo scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bernadette Davies, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds.
Oakmont's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-14. As for West Park, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.
