The Bradshaw Christian The Pride's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 52-11 loss at the hands of Foothill. Bradshaw Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-2.
Foothill's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joyce Runner, who scored 16 points. The contest was Runner's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zeniah Thompson, who scored 14 points.
Bradshaw Christian bumped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.5 points per game. As for Foothill, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Bradshaw Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Galt at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Galt is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. Foothill and Lincoln will round out the year against one another at 8:00 p.m. on December 28th at.
