The Bradshaw Christian The Pride will head out on the road to face off against the Foothill Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bradshaw Christian is hoping to put an end to an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Bradshaw Christian came up short against Armijo and fell 40-33.
Meanwhile, Foothill also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Center by a score of 41-34. Foothill has struggled against Center recently, as their game on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite their defeat, Foothill saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Joyce Runner, who scored 12 points, was perhaps the best of all. The contest was Runner's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Zeniah Thompson, who scored nine points.
Bradshaw Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Foothill, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Bradshaw Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Foothill when the teams last played back in November of 2021, but they still walked away with a 30-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bradshaw Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
