Allen is 3-0 against Rock Hill since January of 2023, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Allen Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Rock Hill Blue Hawks at 7:15 p.m. Allen has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 2,439 points over their last 33 contests.
Even though Little Elm scored an imposing 73 points on Tuesday, Allen still came out on top. Allen walked away with an 83-73 win over Little Elm. Given Allen's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Little Elm is ranked 154th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Rock Hill sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-38 win over Braswell on Tuesday. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Rock Hill has scored all year.
Rock Hill found their leader in underclassman Keyshawn Myles, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tayvien Gasu, who scored five points.
Allen pushed their record up to 28-5 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Rock Hill, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-14.
Everything came up roses for Allen against Rock Hill when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 103-76 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Myles, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Allen still be able to contain Myles? There's only one way to find out.
