The Gregori Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the McClatchy Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Gregori comes in on 13 and McClatchy on six.
Gregori put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Monday. Everything went their way against Pitman as Gregori made off with a 3-0 win. That's two games straight that Gregori has won by exactly three goals.
They hit Pitman with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Adrian Yepez- Yepez,
Fernando Malagon, and
Michael Daley.
Meanwhile, McClatchy had just enough and edged River City out 2-1 on Tuesday. Two seems to be a good number for McClatchy as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.
Gregori pushed their record up to 15-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those six matches. As for McClatchy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4-5 record this season.
