There's no place like home for the Arbor Prep Gators, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against Salem on Friday as Arbor Prep made off with a 73-48 win.
Salem's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landen Stone, who scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Eric Milt jr., who scored five points along with nine rebounds.
Arbor Prep pushed their record up to 6-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Salem, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arbor Prep will take on Gabriel Richard at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gabriel Richard knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Arbor Prep likes a good challenge. As for Salem, they will be playing at home against Northville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
