The Silas Rams will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Mount Tahoma T-Birds at 7:00 p.m. Silas is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
Last Thursday, Silas was beaten by Lincoln 55-13. While losing is never fun, Silas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Lincoln is ranked 40th).
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Mount Tahoma at home against Stadium on Friday as the squad secured a 42-7 win. With Mount Tahoma ahead 35-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Mount Tahoma haved a senior duo take command as Brison Bailey rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry and Tre' Walker rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Walker's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards. Devon Addison was another key contributor, rushing for 56 yards and a touchdown.
Mount Tahoma's victory bumped their season record to 4-3 while Silas' loss dropped theirs to 0-7.
Silas took a serious blow against Mount Tahoma in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, falling 49-7. Will Silas have more luck at home instead of on the road?
