D.K. Metcalf is one of the top young receivers in the NFL, but the odds of him ever being considered the greatest receiver from his home state of Mississippi are quite long. With 2,316 career receiving yards, he only needs about 22,000 more to top his state's all-time leader Jerry Rice.
Rice, who is also the NFL's career yardage leader, is among the headliners in our look at the greatest wide receiver from every state. Other Hall of Famers on the list include Tim Brown in Texas, Randy Moss in West Virginia and Terrell Owens in Alabama.

Pro-Football-Reference.com. States that didn't have a receiver qualify included Alaska, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Dakota and Vermont.
