Ryan Jones was considered a hard commit to Oklahoma. He kept that commitment on a very busy and triumphant National Signing Day at
Mallard Creek (Charlotte, N.C.) on Wednesday.
The four-star recruit led a list of four other Mallard Creek football players who signed with FBS schools. Viewers watched live on MaxPreps.com as Jones, a MaxPreps preseason All-American, signed with the Sooners.
Eight other Mavericks signed letters of intent, giving them 13 in all who signed letters of intent.
The four other Mavericks who signed to FBS programs were

Grant Gibson (North Carolina State),
Isaac Hampton (Miami, Ohio) and
T.J. Moore (Florida).
