After two games on the road, Lincoln is heading back home. They will take on the Pinkston Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pinkston took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lincoln, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, Lincoln was able to grind out a solid victory over North Dallas, taking the game 57-47. The win was just what Lincoln needed coming off of a 66-36 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Pinkston had to settle for a 52-49 defeat against Roosevelt on Friday.
Despite the loss, Pinkston had strong showings from Stacy Johnson, who scored 15 points, and Rashad Simpson, who scored 13 points.
Lincoln has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 15-15 record this season. As for Pinkston, their loss dropped their record down to 17-16.
Lincoln barely slipped by Pinkston when the teams last played back in January, winning 58-57. Does Lincoln have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pinkston turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
