The Caravel Buccaneers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Red Lion Christian Academy as Caravel made off with a 31-6 win. Considering Caravel has won six contests by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Caravel has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 10-0 record. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 9-3 Archmere Academy and 7-3 Archmere Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 59.9% over those games). As for Red Lion Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
Caravel's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Delaware Military Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Archmere Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (Archmere Academy is ranked tenth, while Red Lion Christian Academy is ranked 14th).
