It was a good run, but the Tuscarora Huskies unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell to Woodgrove 59-54. Tuscarora was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Woodgrove apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Woodgrove got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Colin Fuller out in front who scored 20 points. Dane Marsh was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Tuscarora's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-2. As for Woodgrove, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Tuscarora and Broad Run will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Broad Run's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
