The Lynn Camp Wildcats''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 37-14 walloping at the hands of McCreary Central. Lynn Camp lost against McCreary Central in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-0 score last time.
Lynn Camp's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 3-8. Sadly, the team can't blame their woes on tough opposition, as that stretch included 1-9 McCreary Central and 2-8 Pineville (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 29.2% over those games). As for McCreary Central, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-9.
Lynn Camp will take on Middlesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Middlesboro's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five matchups. McCreary Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
