LAS VEGAS — Jordan Miller’s game-high 36-point tally spearheaded the Los Angeles Clippers to an 88-78 victory over the Denver Nuggets in an NBA 2K25 Summer League battle at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas on Friday night.

The game was the epitome of a hard-fought, blow-for-blow battle for the first three quarters, with the Clippers clawing their way to a three-point halftime lead but finding themselves unable to increase it ahead of the final period thanks to the Nuggets’ strong third-quarter defensive play. Denver would eventually take multiple modest advantages during the fourth quarter, but after the game was knotted at 74-74 with 4:07 remaining, Los Angeles finished on a 14-4 run over the final 3:24, a rally spearheaded by one of Miller’s six three-point buckets.

Julian Strawther led the Nuggets with 25 points, supplementing them with five rebounds, one assist and one steal. Hunter Tyson delivered 15 points, two rebounds and two assists. Trey Alexander supplied 12 points, four boards, three assists and one steal. First-round pick DaRon Holmes II managed 11 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal prior to departing with an Achilles injury. PJ Hall posted 10 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.

Miller complemented his game-high scoring total with five rebounds, one assist and one steal. Kobe Brown finished with 13 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block. Moussa Diabate generated an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double that included one assist.

The Nuggets return to the floor Sunday night against the Toronto Raptors, while the Clippers are back in action against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.
