Signs with New York
Morris rejoins the Knicks after appearing in 49 games between the 76ers and Cavaliers last season, where he averaged 6.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per game in the regular season. Should he make the final roster, the 35-year-old will likely serve as a depth piece for a team with strong depth at the forward spots.

Headed to New York
Shamet averaged 7.1 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 15.8 minutes across 46 regular-season appearances, including five starts for the Wizards in 2023-24 before missing the final 18 games with a left calf strain. The 27-year-old guard will likely compete for a depth role in the backcourt, as he is a career 38.4 percent three-point shooter.

Lands two-way deal
The Knicks extended a qualifying offer to Toppin in late June, and he'll officially remain with the team as a two-way player. Toppin appeared in nine regular-season games for the parent club last year and averaged just 1.4 points in 4.2 minutes per game. It wouldn't be surprising to see him spend plenty of time in the G League once again this year.
