test

May 16, 2024

NBCUniversal’s Orlando headquarters welcomed both media and special guests to celebrate its transformation into a leading sports and entertainment technology hub. Joined by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, attendees gathered to see how the Central Florida campus has transformed from its GOLF Channel roots to one of Orlando’s largest technology employers representing brands that connect people to their passions in sports and entertainment.

Mayor Dyer joined NBC Sports Next & Fandango President Will McIntosh, Executive Vice President Jerramy Hainline, and the NBCUniversal team as they showcased the new look and design of the headquarters, featuring stunning contributions from local Orlando artists. The highlight of the day was the unveiling of an original piece of artwork commissioned to build more connections between NBCU’s Orlando team members and “The City Beautiful.” The unique piece of art showcases NBCU letters, adorned with a collage of iconic Orlando locations, symbols, and neighborhoods.

Throughout the event, press, media, and local officials had the opportunity to engage in a variety of enriching experiences, including a tour showcasing photography and murals throughout the building that pay homage to Orlando-area neighborhoods and iconic venues. Guests had the opportunity to meet the talented artists behind the art and engage with our leaders to gain insight into how we are reshaping the sports and entertainment landscape through leading technology brands, including NBC Sports Next, GolfNow, SportsEngine, Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, Fandango at Home, and more.

Check out the work NBC Sports Next and Fandango are doing through the Better Together community impact initiative and watch the incredible transformation of the Orlando Headquarters thanks to local artists.
