Where the USWNT at the 2024 Olympics played in college

The US Women's National Soccer Team is competing for the gold medal at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Out of the 22-player squad, 19 are former NCAA student-athletes representing 11 different colleges. Stanford leads with five players, followed by North Carolina (three) and Penn State and Florida State tallying two apiece.

Here's a breakdown of each NCAA athlete rostered to represent the crest at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris including awards and stats from their college careers.

Alyssa Naeher, GK | Penn State

The former Nittany Lion earned her first cap with the USWNT in 2014 and has since won two World Cup titles, traveled to the 2021 Tokyo and 2016 Rio Games and ranks third all-time in caps (104), wins and shutouts (64) for a goalkeeper in U.S. history. Naeher has played in the NWSL for 11 years and became the league’s all-time leader in both saves and appearances by a goalkeeper early in the 2023 regular season.
