What kind of prospect was Richardson in high school?

Sha'Carri Richardson, a Dallas, Texas native, was an elite high school sprinter and a top college recruit at Dallas Carter High School. Upon graduating high school, she already had personal bests of 7.49 in the 60 meters, 11.28 in the 100 meters and 23.28 in the 200 meters.

Richardson was the No. 1 overall ranked sprinter by MileSplit, and No. 2 overall behind Caitlin Collier. Richardson won three Texas state championships, an AAU Jr. Olympic Championship and finished third at the 2017 USA Track & Field Junior Championships.
