Thomas H., "Wawa", “Bear”, Clutter, age 82, gained his heavenly angel wings peacefully on July 6, 2024. Tom was born on February 20, 1942, in Springfield, Missouri. He married the love of his life, Inge "Meme" Clutter, on January 7, 1962, in Stuttgart, Germany. They were together for over 60 years and are now reunited in heaven for eternity.

Tom was a proud member of the U.S. Army, and, while stationed in Germany, he met Inge and started a family. Tom was a dedicated provider for this family and carved out his career with the U.S. Postal Service. He and Inge lived a full life of service, always lending a hand to those in need; never hesitating to provide help in whatever way they could. They enjoyed and took great pride in their community and their contributions were honored with a trail named after them as part of the local greenways.

To a life well lived, Tom, "Wawa,", we will all continue to keep your memory fresh with your infamous saying, "Fine and dandy like cotton candy." And yes, you were.

All are invited to drop by and join the family in a celebration gathering on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, 2001 W. Walnut Lane, Springfield, MO. In lieu of flowers, Tom’s favorite charities were Ronald McDonald House and St. Jude’s, or in the spirit of Meme and Wawa, any random act of kindness.
